12-minute walkthrough
A guided path in plain bank English: marketing beat, Patricia’s desk, Helen on the estate post, Tom with a message and Notify issuer, then Patricia on approvals and the activity log. Exit anytime to use the normal demo.
1Start on the marketing page
This is the first screen a bank CFO sees. Shareholder Center is issuer-paid software for privately held community banks. Request a demo, or read what this is not. The Cedar Ridge story starts from Enter the demo.
2Read what this is not
Say this out loud: no public book, no pairing of buyers and sellers, no money rails. A notice of interest is not a ticket. Counsel still finishes any transfer off-platform.
3Enter as the bank
Open Enter the demo and choose Enter as CFO. That opens Patricia Keene’s issuer desk. There is no password.
4Look around Patricia’s desk
This is the Cedar Ridge issuer desk. People, invites, posts, and approvals stay on this issuer. The desk can see through a nameless post. Nothing here moves title.
5Switch to Helen
Use Switch session, then Enter as shareholder (estate). Helen Vargas is personal representative for the Estate of Margaret Holmgren.
6Open the estate post
The estate may want to transfer 6,000 shares. There is no button that completes a purchase. Helen cannot notify the issuer on her own post.
7Switch to Tom
Leave Helen and enter as Tom Albrecht, an existing holder with buy interest. Use Switch session, then Enter as shareholder (buyer).
8Send a short message
Open the estate post. Write a brief note. This thread does not complete a transfer. Send message, then continue.
9Notify the issuer
Notify issuer creates a pending intended-transfer review on Patricia’s desk. It does not move shares or money.
10Return to Patricia
Use Switch session, then Enter as CFO. Patricia will see Tom’s notice on the approvals desk.
11Review the pending approval
Approvals shows Tom’s intended-transfer notice after Notify issuer. Approve or deny is a desk note. Title still changes off-platform.
12Open the activity log
Activity is the audit trail. Export the CSV for counsel. This is recordkeeping, not a blotter. Exit walkthrough when you are ready to click around freely.
